We are GMS/MCM Bulldogs! We are Blue & Gold!

Cheerleading is offered to 7th & 8th-grade students. Students practice and cheer at sporting events in the fall and winter.

Our Purpose:

• Instill character and leadership skills through the use of athletic cheerleading techniques

• Encourage sportsmanship and spirit.

Our Objectives:

• Be a crucial part of a team

• Develop confidence in oneself

• Self-Awareness

• A 'no-judgment' space

• Step outside your own 'comfort zone'

• Become a great goal-setter

• Have fun

Getting Involved:

MS Cheerleading is for 7th & 8th graders at GMS & MCM

Criteria for Selection:

• Must have no failing grades in the semester prior to tryouts

• School spirit

• Good leadership skills

• Coachable.

Our Meeting Times:

Practices are 3:30pm - 5:00pm Monday-Wednesday from August - January. Schedules will be posted monthly during the season.
