GHS Class of 2006

Orrianna participated in softball, basketball, and track during her time at Grandview Senior High School. In track, Orrianna won the state championship her senior year in the 400m and as a member of the 4 x 100 relay. Orrianna broke the school record in the 400m and she earned all-state honors all four years. In basketball, Orrianna was a three year varsity starter and was a first team all-conference player both her junior and senior years. Her 2005-06 team won the conference championship. In softball, Orrianna was a four year starterand garnered numerous honors. She was named the GHS Senior Female Athlete of the Year. She was on the honor roll, a member of the National Honor Society and was named Who's Who Amongst High School Students.

Orrianna continued her track career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she graduated with a degree in Sociology. Orrianna has worked for the Missouri Department of Social Services, the Kansas Division of Family Support and Swope Health Services. She also served as an assistant track coach at GHS. Her favorite athletic memory at GHS was having her picture on the state championship wall for her accomplishments as well as sharing that with friends who are now considered lifetime friends.
