ANTHONY BROWN

GHS Class of 2001


Anthony is being inducted post-mortem after passing in 2007. Anthony participated in football, track, and basketball during his time at Grandview Senior High School. In football, Anthony was a three-time all-conference selection and two-time all-district selection during his time at GHS. Anthony is currently the career taackles record holder with 330 tackles. Anthony earned first team all-state honors both his junior and senior years. Anthony ws the Ronald Warren award recipient in 2000 as the best linebacker in the metro. He was named team MVP and served as a captain his senior year. Anthony was selected and played in the Missouri-Kansas All Star Game.


Anthony continued his football career at the University of Kansas with a degree in Liberal Arts. Anthony worked at the Sprint Corporation. According to Andre, Anthony wanted to dominate each and every play.
